SYN (Part 4) is the fourth part of Chapter 3: SYN ("SYN" being short for "Synchronize") in the Fisheye Placebo series and was released to DeviantArt on April 10, 2023.[1]

Summary[]
Asleep, Vance lustfully dreams about his waifu, Kimiko, along with two others. As he continues to dream, Frey, who's come back to the dorm, places Vance's smelly sneakers right next to Vance's face, abruptly waking him up. He then tells Vance he needs to get up as he's late for art class, though Vance remarks he doesn't have such a class. Undeterred, Frey informs him he does now and kicks the half-dressed Vance out of the room and locks the door before Vance can try to get back in.
Vance begins to bang on the door, demanding answers for everything that's transpired, including asking if Frey even works for the university, but Frey ignores him and begins to play on his violin. Resigning to his current predicament, Vance then tells Frey through the door he'll play along for now and go to the art class but when he gets back, Frey owes him answers.
Over in Reymond Floyd's office, the professor is scrolling through the photos that Robin got from the attack on the Eastern Slums that she submitted to Allie and the Vox Populi after being allowed to join them. While impressed with the images, as they finally have visual proof of the stories, Reymond voices his concerns that Robin wouldn't tell them how she got the photos. Allie also points out how Robin had quoted someone else she caught dumpster diving one night that made it clear both the mysterious person and Robin already knew about their ties to the underground newspaper and were likely working together. As they don't know which side Robin and the dumpster diver are on, Reymond decides to take precautions and to do some research into Robin's background.
Elsewhere on campus, the still half-dressed Vance finally makes it to art class, bursting in wearing only his hoodie and boxer shorts to stunned onlookers. With the exception of the elderly, nude male who was posing for the class, everyone else stares over at Vance, with thoughts ranging from Jen thinking Vance is a pervert, to Cocoa thinking how bold and fearless he is with his "style", and Robin just blankly staring on as Vance stares back at the group, horrified.
