Summary[]

An embarrassed Vance apologizes for being late to class and, while others silently watch on, the professor, who was sitting off to the side reading, silently thinks to herself how odd as she wasn't missing any students and Vance is actually the second extra student that day. Nevertheless, she tells Vance to go ahead and take a seat and do figure drawing with the time that's left. Vance gives a loud "Yes Ma'am!" and salute to her without thinking, before he realizes he finds the professor hot and that he's in the vicinity of all female students.

Cocoa quickly greets Vance, asking if he needs help, much to Jen's annoyance, who voices not to help him as Vance is a creep. Vance notes he does actually need help as he doesn't have any art tools with him (nor his pants) and Cocoa readily helps him out while also wrangling a reluctant Jen into giving Vance some paper. While Vance finds the art majors nice, he also inwardly finds them weird when Cocoa lends him her lucky Octo-Pencil that she fondly named Takoct and kept secured in her braid.

Vance works on his drawing, and while a decent sketch, he instead takes the old man's pose and turns it into that of his waifu, Kimiko, as he's spent a lot of time in the past drawing waifus. Cocoa and Jen come over and while Jen feels this just reinforces Vance as a pervert, Cocoa believes Vance was playing on a far deeper idea about society's hypersexualization of women and discrimination against the elderly.

Before anything else can be said, the professor announces the figure study is over and she wants everyone to get into teams of two to four for their first group project, which will count as 30% of their grade. Cocoa immediately asks Vance if he wants to join her and a flabbergasted Jen, who's inwardly screaming no, while Vance excitedly accepts Cocoa's offer. Just then, Robin approaches and asks if she can join the trio and Jen is momentarily stunned, suddenly recognizing Robin as the one who inspired her about the white painted murals. While Jen is lost in thought on this, an oblivious Cocoa readily accepts Robin into their group as well.

The professor, on seeing everyone has formed into groups, then tells the class they have one month to complete their project and to interpret it however they want, using any medium they want. She then notes their prompt: unturn your blind eye and paint the unseen.
