SYN (Part 6) is the sixth part of Chapter 3: SYN ("SYN" being short for "Synchronize") in the Fisheye Placebo series and was released to DeviantArt on June 2, 2024.[1]

Summary[]
Cocoa and Jen take the newly formed art group to their studio, with a still pant-less Vance amazed at how nice their dorm is. Cocoa explains how it used to just be a storage warehouse for art supplies, but over time various students added furniture to the place, making it a comfy living quarters. As such, the students began to hold a competition every two years to see who'd get the studio and Cocoa and Jen won last year.
The group then sits down around a table to discuss the assignment and their interpretations of "unturn your blind eye and paint the unseen." Jen proposes that the professor could be referring to the underprivileged, like the poor, homeless, and beggars, who society tends to ignore without a second glance on the streets, while Robin suggests a possible other interpretation: the unseen could be those working without any recognition/behind the scenes to improve the world. Meanwhile Vance, realizing he's surrounded by three women, gets distracted and starts imagining them as waifus before he snaps back to reality after Cocoa repeatedly tried to get his attention, with Jen looking disgusted.
Cocoa asks Vance if he's ok as he hasn't spoken at all about the project and, caught off guard, Vance makes an excuse that he needs to use the toilet. As he asks where it is, Jen slyly points out the toilet is right next to the group, behind some of the small plants. As Vance goes to it, he spots a frog inside the toilet bowl and inquires why it's there, with Jen nonchalantly remarking that's Mr. Lollihops and to make him leave, Vance just needs to give him a kiss. Deciding he doesn't need to pee anymore, Vance re-joins the conversation about the project only to be put on the spot once more when Cocoa asks what he thinks of their plan so far. Having not paid attention, Vance wholeheartedly agrees to the unknown plan and Cocoa expresses how happy and relieved she is that Vance is on board with it, as she was worried it'd put an unfair amount of work on Vance. She then notes she'll pick him up tomorrow morning and a shocked Vance, believing it's a date, is left with his mouth wide open in shock. A fly almost flies into his open mouth but is caught at the last minute by Mr. Lollihops, only for the frog to jump into Vance's mouth himself, causing Vance to vomit into the toilet, privately noting that's how he got his first kiss.
